
Ikenga Abiama Dynasty Install Businge Couple as Duke & Duchess of Diaspora Monarch

Ikenga Abiama Dynasty Foundation of Igboland has installed Professor Patrick Businge and his wife, Professor Julian Businge, as Duke and Duchess of Ikenga Abiama Dynasty of Igboland’s Diaspora Monarch, His Royal Highness, KING AGU-EJI-EJE-MBA, Ambassador Dr. Sir Clyde Rivers.
The Installation was performed by His Imperial Royal Majesty, King Aba Obazi IV Enebiene Royal Dynasty, the Grand Patriach and the Supreme Commander of the Royal Court for Ikenga-Abiama Dynasty of Igboland on June 9, 2025.
The Founder and Chairperson of Ikenga Abiama Dynasty Foundation, Her Imperial Royal Majesty, Amb. Dr. Uba Iwunwa, (Queen Ugobeze) described the appointment of Prof. Businge, chancellor of Greatness University, and his wife as strategic due to their enormous to humanitarian and noble leadership in the 21st century.
“Our decision to honor them as Duke and Duchess is a recognition of their tireless efforts to uplift and unite people, globally. It is our belief that this appointment will strengthen ties within the diaspora, promote cultural awareness, and encourage continued investment in the socio-economic development of Igboland.


“Patrick Businge has demonstrated exemplary leadership in his role as Chancellor of Greatness University, where he has not only fostered academic excellence but also served as a catalyst for social change within the academic community and beyond.
“His academic initiatives and community outreach programs have projected the values of humility in greatness to a broader audience, inspiring the next generation of leaders.
“We strongly believe that contributions of the Businge couple to the Ikenga-Abiama Dynasty Foundation’s Diaspora mission—through advocacy, philanthropic efforts, and cultural preservation—will further strengthen our global outreach.
Empress Ugobeze also disclosed that the couple embody the principles of integrity, dedication, and service, and that their appointment would enhance the legacy of the Ikenga Abiama Dynasty Foundation of Igboland.
